You know when you're mad and everything is really funny? Rofl. I feel like that right now. Of course we all knew it was coming, right? I mean, it's not like he was going to be all, "My fellow Americans, War sucks. What we all need is love and peace! " Lmao. But dude. . .
- First off, why does he keep saying "world" this and "world" that? Uhhh, newsflash! The "WORLD" does not want the war. the American government does O_o Half the world is in opposition, if you havn't noticed by the HUNDREDS OF PROTESTS?
- ROFL. Now he's usingthe UN as an excuse? " The UN has not accepted it's responsibility, so we will rise to ours." LMAO! Since when were we so high and mighty to take on full responsibility of the entire UN? The UN was made so no dictator or any other leader would get too rough, and it has to vote on military action, right? Well, the UN isn't stupid. Theres a reason the majority of the UN is against this war. Speaking of which. . .
- . . .Since when was America as a whole for this war, anyway? Is it just me of has Bush temporarily forgotten the entire west coast and all the other anti-war protesters? People arn't parading on the streets of San Francisco and Washington for hours of on end shouting " No Blood for Oil" and "No War on Iraq " for the sheer fun of it. At least a good third of the Americans' opinion here don't even matter. Hah! Some democracy this is. . .
With that said, theres another issue that everyone seems to avoid. Just because I'm anti-war doesn't make me any less American or Patriotic than you, MmK? Patriotism isn't defined as going around and invading countries that are "threatening" your freedom. Note the dripping sarcasm there. I never bashed anyone for being pro-war, I just gave me reasons to why I was anti-war.
It makes me sick that our own government isn't asking for the peoples' opinions. Who's under dictatorship here- Iraq or America?
I suck at expressing my opinion through words, but for the first time I can say exactly what I think in two words.

Since a couple of people on LJ seem to be having a problem with Danneh, I guess I'll merrily include myself in this amiable affair ~~. . .
First off, I'm not saying who's right here. Frankly I think both sides are being kind of. . .

Yeah, Danneh made a mistake. People make mistakes easily when they feel outcasted.

I don't know if you guys PMed her only when you were bored or there wern't other people on. But I know what thats like, alright? It feels like you're being used. Eventually you grow cold to that person.
Another point, why does she have to act hyper-enthusiastic-happy all the time? It's not anyone's job to act a certain way to keep you happy.
On a final note, I do think Danneh was too harsh. But I also think it takes "two to tango", to be cheesy and cliche. I'm sure someone else was at a fault here.
And I don't think publicly burning someone is going to solve anything.
